The Arkansas State Council was organized on May 5, 1909. It covers the entire state of Arkansas which is served by only one Catholic Diocese, the Diocese of Little Rock. The State Council in conjunction with the local councils conducts and promotes programs in the five program areas of: church, family, youth, council and membership. The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, Family, Fraternal, Service Organization. Membership is open to all Catholic men 18 years of age or older who are practicing Catholics in union with the Holy See. For more information, contact the State Membership Director. There is also an official youth organization, The Columbian Squires, for Catholic young men between the ages of 10 and 17.
