The annual meeting (state convention) of the state council is held in April.  The districts rotate hosting the state convention.   There is an organizational meeting held in July each year for the State Officers and Program Chairman to coordinate goals, plans and programs for the new fraternal year. 

The State Council in conjunction with the local councils conducts and promotes programs in the five program areas of:  church, family, youth, council and membership.  The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, Family, Fraternal, Service Organization.  Membership is open to all Catholic men 18 years of age or older who are practicing Catholics in union with the Holy See.  For more information, contact the State Membership Director.
